Best & Bloom Floral Installation at Weetwood Hall
We’re thrilled to share a recent project that brought together heritage, creativity, and seasonal style - our floral arrangement for the beautiful Weetwood Hall Estate, a historic venue nestled in the leafy outskirts of Leeds.
Built around a 17th-century manor house, Weetwood Hall is steeped in charm. Originally a private estate, it now serves as a four-star conference centre and hotel, gracefully combining period architecture with contemporary hospitality. With its rich heritage and welcoming spaces, it was the perfect setting for a bespoke floral display that bridges tradition and modern design.
The Brief: Warm, Impactful, and Seasonal
Our meeting set the tone for a statement piece that would echo the warmth and elegance of the venue. The brief called for something eye-catching and seasonal - a piece that would carry the space beautifully into the autumn months, while still celebrating the last golden notes of summer.
The Vase: A Brass Beauty
Every great arrangement starts with a strong foundation - and in this case, it was love at first sight when we sourced a large, statement, vintage-style brass vase. With its aged patina and bold silhouette, the vase felt both timeless and contemporary - a perfect match for Weetwood’s blend of historic character and elegance.
It needed a little TLC to become worthy of the beautiful arrangement we had in mind—but once restored and polished, it looked every bit as grand and graceful as the setting it was destined for.
The Flowers: Autumn in Bloom
The floral palette was inspired by the changing landscape: warm oranges, deep reds, golden yellows, and touches of velvety purple. These tones bring richness and depth, evoking the turning of the leaves and the softening of light as we move into September and beyond.
The arrangement is now beautifully in place at Weetwood Hall, filling the space with seasonal warmth and a striking visual presence. The bold brass vase and lush blooms create a perfect harmony of texture and colour, capturing the essence of autumn while complementing the venue’s historic charm.
