Sustainable Artificial Flower Arrangements for The Bridge Hotel & Spa

We recently had the pleasure of creating two bespoke arrangements with artificial flowers for The Bridge Hotel & Spa, a distinguished 17th-century coaching inn set in the picturesque Yorkshire countryside. 

Known for its characterful architecture, warm wood interiors, and long-standing reputation for hospitality, The Bridge holds a special place in the region’s history.

Today, it continues to welcome guests with the same charm, while offering modern comforts and a serene spa that makes it a destination of choice.

The Requirements

The Bridge Hotel is committed to sustainability and its support of local businesses. As one of the area’s leading wedding venues, it has built a reputation for combining timeless elegance with thoughtful choices that minimise environmental impact.

In such a setting, a floral display needs to do more than look beautiful, it should also reflect those values. Creating showstopping yet sustainable arrangements felt like a natural fit, aligning with the hotel’s ethos while adding to the atmosphere that makes it such a special place for celebrations.

The Bespoke Floral Designs

For the reception, we designed an arrangement that plays with contrast and harmony.

Lilac tones echo the purple accents threaded through the entrance space, while soft orange blooms provide a lively counterpoint, bringing warmth and brightness that sit beautifully against the hotel’s wood finishes.

The result is a piece that feels both elegant and uplifting, offering guests a cheerful welcome as they arrive.

The second piece was created for the spa, where the atmosphere calls for calm and quiet balance.

Here, the palette centres on fresh greens and soft whites, enriched with gentle touches of pink, lilac, and a hint of orange. The composition is layered and serene, echoing the spa’s tranquil light and restorative ambience.

The Outcome

Together, these two arrangements reflect the dual spirit of The Bridge Hotel & Spa: a place of warmth and character at its heart, and of peace and renewal within its sanctuary spaces. It was an honour to design florals that complement such a prestigious and historic venue.
